The Planning and Engineering department is headed by Mr. Salami who is responsible for planning of Shahin Wire and Cable Co.™ products developed at the manufacturing plant.

The procedures implemented in this department are as follows:

• Receiving the customers order request.
• Planning and documenting the product production request in the Production Plan of the factory.
• Sending a copy of the Production Plan form to the QC department.
• Planning and specifying the activities and processes required for making the product.
• Designing and defining the best procedure and timing plan for the least stoppage of resources - man and equipment.
• Predicting the delivery date for the shipment of products.
